The Ranger is one of the most infamous pirate ships of it’s day - first captained by Charles Vane who, unlike some other notable pirate captains of the age, was known for his cruelty - often beating, torturing and killing sailors from ships he had captured. Eventually he was overthrown and voted out as captain - replaced by Jack Rackham or “Calico” Jack of Jolly Roger fame. Our Ranger blend is a tribute to this feared ship and its legendary captain - with a well balanced body and notes of chocolate, berries, and fruit.
